I am going to create a HL7 import process to import waveform documents from Epic to OnBase. The documents have several waveforms on them of varying colors. Some of the lighter waveforms are difficult to see if their imported form is a black/white image. This could cause a potential issue when the Medical Records team tries to print out the document for Release of Informational purposes. Is there a way to change the contrast of the document as the document is being imported or is there a function to do this in workflow?
See the image below for an example of a waveform that may be problematic due to being too light in color. The waveform in indicated by the arrow.

You might be able to run an Image Processing on it to clean it up. Just a thought.

I like this idea. Nothing specific to the HL7 functionality in OnBase would be able to adjust contrast but you could route the document to Workflow and then manipulate it as you could any other image document.
