Find documents by many different values in a keyword

Hi all,

I have a customer who has a long list of customer numbers. The list has a little more than 46,000 entries (and different customer numbers)

They want to delete all documents that has one of the customer numbers on it in the "Customer number" keyword.

What is the easiest way to do a search for all of these keywords and delete them (perhaps export them first) ?

Hope some one has a clever solution to this 🙂

Best regards,

Michael Fray

Hi Michael,

Thanks for using the OnBase Community. I suggest that you use DIP and workflow if your customer has those two modules. DIP can import the list of numbers and create a virtual form for each one. Workflow can then find the related documents, export them to a flat file, and then delete the document.

You will need to create a document type with an HTML form attached to it. Customer number needs to be a keyword on the document type. Then, create a DIP import process to bring in the list of numbers. Finally, create a workflow life cycle that processes this document type, finds the related items, exports as needed, and deletes them.

Best,

Erin
