Delayed scanning from Fujitsu fi-7600

We have noticed about a 10-15 second delay from the time the scan button is clicked to when the first page is scanned in the thick client. We just upgraded to the fi-7600 from an fi-6770. The previous scanner didn't have quite this long of a delay. Any ideas as to what i can do to shorten the delay?

Our environment:

OnBase v16

Fujitsu fi-7600 with ISIS drivers

Kofax VRS Elite Workgroup 5.1

Found a solution!

Got rid of Kofax software and all was good to go.  Used native fujitsu paperscan software instead.

YEs the first thing to do is always get rid of the old drivers, all of them. Then install Paperstream!

Do you all use patch codes while scanning? We are also still using the Thick Client for scanning with the Fujitsu 7700.

We still use the thick client but don't use patch codes.

Hello team,

My client has a Fujitsu fi-7600 too and they changed the Scanning Workstation and reinstall Fujitsu drivers on the new WS but seems that we are missing something else. We have OB EP3.

Do we need to do some configuration on the Scanner side ? We are using Twain.

Do we need to configure a Scan Format Setup in Thick Client ?

We are not getting any scanning batch in OnBase, any idea please ?

Thank you in advance.

Based on your description, I would recommend reaching out to your First Line of Support (FLOS) since you could have multiple reasons why you can't scan batches.
