Scan More pages is not appending to document when switching formats

In OnBase 12 we are scanning in documents. When we Change Format and Scan more pages OnBase creates a new document instead of appending to the current document. How can I make it append to the document I am scanning in?

If the change in scan format changes between simplex and duplex scanning *or* it changes the configured number of pages per document, then the system will start a new document.  If they remain the same, and the user clicks the 'scan more pages' button to continue scanning, then it should continue into the same document.

This was a change in 12 that caused us problems as well.  We requested an SCR and work was completed in builds 12.1.592+. If you go to service pack 2 it should resolve this feature of 12.

if you updated your onbase12 from previous version then onbase12 resets your scanner profile to signal page document if you imported old scanner profiles. what you need to do is go to each scanner profile and make a change weather the profile is single page documents or multi page document profile. once you correct that and use right profile for right document then you will be fine
