Users in Thick Client unable to retrieve results when there is only 1 document

Hello

We primarily use Unity Client but our users sometimes need to log into Thick Client to export DWG files types (functionality that is missing in Unity). When the search only retrieves 1 document they receive the following error:

734e24927bc94983879b4122a6d98335

If there are 2 or more documents the list retrieves fine and they have permission to view the documents as proved by Unity.

Any ideas? We are on EP3.

Thanks

Marnie

Hi @Marnie Mitchell,

Are you only using the "Send To" functionality in the Thick Client and not actually trying to open the CAD files there? If so, you will need to change the retrieval setting that automatically opens up documents in single result retrievals. To do this in the Thick Client, navigate to:

Users | User Options | Document

Towards the bottom there is an entry box that says: "Display all documents if number of results is less than or equal to: " Enter 0 in the box, meaning documents will never automatically open. This way, you can still use Sent To without receiving that error.

If you are trying to open the CAD files in the Thick Client, you will likely need AutoCad or a .DWG file viewer downloaded on the machine.

Hope this resolves your issue!
