We are about to implement the Unity Client at our office. During our test phase we noticed you can personalize the default web sites which pop-up on the home page. Is there any way to globally change the default web pages to our company page or a google search window?

The information you are talking about is stored in the obUnity.exe.config file so the best you can do is deploy a custom version of that file to each workstation. We do that here at our location and since we use SCCM to depoloy software to our workstations, it is easy to include a custom file that replaces default one once the Unity Client has been installed on a workstation.

A couple of other things to keep in mind while planning your deployment that can have an impact on license consumption:
1) The Unity Client by default will launch on user login - this can be changed in the registry or through msconfig
2) The Unity Client by default will run in your system tray - you can change that behavior in the config file.

A note for 2) when Unity is running in your sys tray it's not necessarily using a license. It has to run that way for upop links and I the VPD and App Enabler listeners might work like that too. I don't think the fact that "obunity.exe 32*" process is running that you're actually consuming a license. If you right click that green O you can log out and it's still running the process but no client license is being used.
