Hello National University,

Thank you for posting to Community.

A TWAIN driver is only required for Disconnected Scanning if your Scan Method is configured to use TWAIN. Other options are ISIS, sweep, or Paperstream (Kofax might be an option in place of Paperstream depending on the version of OnBAse that you are using). This is not limited to Disconnected Scanning. The Thick Client would require the appropriate scanner driver to be installed to be able to scan properly into OnBase.

If you find that scanning in Disconnected Scanning will only work if a TWAIN driver is installed and the Scan Method is not configured for TWAIN, please reach out to your First Line of Support to troublehsoot further.

Thanks.
