Some enhancements have been added to help with variable-length documents, but our integration does not have a dynamic way to adjust without user intervention. For variable-length documents, where pre-configured placeholders are not an option, we recommend making those adjustments in the DocuSign interface. If using Workflow, the action should include the "suppress signer notification emails" option. The document will be uploaded to DocuSign into a draft status, and a user can log into DocuSign and make the necessary changes.
If uploading from the Unity "DocuSign" button, the user can upload a selected document and open it directly in the DocuSign interface for editing without having to log in separately to DocuSign. This is a convenient way to make changes to signature placeholders on a document-by-document basis.
