Microsoft recently announced that VBScript will be depreciated in future releases of windows. Is this something that will affect Perceptive Content such as the AppGetTree scripts?

Hi @Matthew McKelvain  - This is not something that will have any impact on Perceptive Content for the foreseeable future. When Microsoft provides further details related to the actual end of life of this component we will be able to provide more guidance on steps needed to be taken.

Deprecation related to Microsoft technologies means that they are no longer updating or releasing new features for that component, it does not signify an immediate end of life. It is possible that they will make the VBScript components an optional add-on that will need to be installed through the Add Windows Features control panel for new versions of their operating system. Which is what is being hinted at in their messaging.

There is no concern from the Hyland end that any functioning LearnMode Application Plan scripts will be fully supported and changes to address any impact this would introduce will be handled in the form of a patch for this product capability to continue to be usable by our customers.
