I have seen another post that people run script or other processes against the import files to remove bad or special characters which is great if it would fail the same way every time.
The example I have contains 280 Trademark symbols and only 3 of them failed. The others processed in correctly, so it looks more like an issue with the way OnBase is reading the file on import vs an issue with the symbols as a whole.
The 6th column is the one it fails in but the 8th column the process in with no issue.
6th Column is "Item" - Alphanumeric 32
8th Column is "Item Description" - Alphanumeric 125
Why would one column process differently than the other?
