Mail Date time KW not captured in emails uploaded by drag & drop

Hi,

We have added mail date time system keyword in a document type with default file format as MS Outlook Message.  We have an Adhoc task in the workflow which asks the users to upload this document. They drag & drop this email to the import screen poped up from the Adhoc task in Unity client or save email in desktop and browse it to the import screen. But in both scenarios, the Mail Date time keyword is not populated.  Does this populate only when the emails are uploaded from Outlook integration plugin ?

Auto indexing MAIL system keywords is only supported through Mailbox Importer and the Integration for Microsoft Outlook. In OnBase 18 there is a new Workflow action (Set Property from Email Metadata) that can grab metadata from an EML or MSG document. Using the Set Keyword from Property Value action you can then update the keyword with the value stored in the property.
