I have a user who is seeing an issue when trying to create a new document from an existing document.
She right-clicks the document, chooses CREATE NEW DOCUMENT, chooses her Doc Type, and the keywords do not populate. I've confirmed that there are keywords assigned but they're not populating. User says that it worked in OB15 but not in OB17.
Any ideas?

Hello Drew,
With SCR 241297, introduced in 15.0.2.179, the behavior of keyword types with default values on them was changed to create parity between the Thick, Unity, and Web clients. At the time each client behaved differently, which created potential data integrity issues. So the decision was made to always clear common keyword values when the document type changes during document Import and Creation.
This change is outlined in the Unity Client MRGs for versions 16 and above, in the section entitled "Creating a New Document from an Existing Document":
Note: If you select a different Document Type during document creation, entered Keyword Values are cleared. Default values for common Keyword Types are either updated or cleared when selecting a different Document Type, depending on whether the selected Document Type has default values for those Keyword Types.
Best Regards,
