Core Query API License Session Expiration

We are looking into switching from using Concurrent Client licenses for our REST API calls beings they take 5 minutes to expire after a session/disconnect....to using the Core Query API (retrievals per hour).

For the Core Query API licenses...

1. do they expire immediately after a session/disconnect?  I'm assuming we still need to do the session/disconnect?

2. what governs the 'retrievals per hour'?  For example queries, we first modify/set up a query, get the qwerty back, then call the endpoint to execute it and return the results.  For the first call I establish a session & get a cookie back, then use that cookie for the next call to execute/return results.  Is that considered 1 or 2 retrievals?

3. Are there any details how this license type works with REST API calls?

Hi @Diane Estes

1a) does not work on that time dimension.  works on query counts in last hour

1b) Yes always

2a) the number of time you execute a query request

2b) 1 query

3) not sure but should follows same basic rules as Unity API use of it as both may be using it at the same time

Good Luck
