Cascading Datasets and Custom Query

I am not to use my Cascading Datasets via a standard Custom Query search.  Is this expected?

At this time SCR 97101 is still under release review and has not been implemented in a version of OnBase. If you'd like I'd be happy to add your end user record to the enhancement.
