MSI file has been added to trusted publisher still throwing certificate warnings. Also, cert expiration date is showing as 5/4/2022 so VPD doesnt work after 5/4 is that correct? How can we extend the cert expiration date?

Hello Rick,

Have you installed the new certificate on the target machine(s)? Whether installing manually or via a script the certificate should be installed first in order to avoid being prompted.

Screenshot is from page 11. of the Virtual Print Driver Foundation EP5 MRG, but the instructions are the same for all:

All,

VPD new instances would also work with an expired certificate? Please confirm.

We are having some issues with the new certificate. The old and new certificates were issued to different companies. See below: VPDCERT_Exp_2022.cer Issued To: "Hyland Software, Inc" VPDCERT_Exp_2025.cer Issued To: "Hyland Software, Inc."

Yes, I am running into this problem as well. Apparently when you go to install the 20.3 version of the VPD, and you imported the newest cert (and you haven't installed the 20.3 VPD on that machine before), then you will still get prompted to approved and say to always trust or not the "Hyland Software, Inc" publish.

So if you want to use the newest cert, the ONLY way to do so is by installing the newest version of the VPD and making sure to install that newest cert beforehand. Just a forewarning to everyone else.
