Hi,
The patients were merged in Epic 2018. OnBase honors the merge bringing together the documents and encounters from both patients; Patient A remains. We then unmerge the patients in Epic. Both Patients A and B now exist in OnBase.
The Patient Unmerge Lifecycle does not detect encounters/visits on the Source (Patient A) patient.
If one inspects the History>Workflow Transactions, you will note that the Unmerge Visits queue reports, "Log: No Visits found" and "No visits remaining. Routing from to document processing queue."
The processing is done via a scripting/programming language. I do not know if the Create Visit Forms queue is the problem or if it is the Unmerge Visits queue.
Does anyone have any experience with this in OnBase 18 or earlier versions?
Thank you,
Russell

Answering my own post!
This turned out to be a problem with the script that runs in one of the queues in the Unmerge lifecycle. It has to do with a database table change that occurred during the upgrade from OnBase 17 to OnBase 18.
Talk to your OnBase technical person and have them contact Liz Dennen. She and an OnBase technical resource identified the issue, and made the correction to the script(s).
