Word Auto-Save feature

I was wondering if when a user is modifying a word document in OnBase, on a document type that is configured for revisions, is it possible to take advantage of Word's auto-save feature?

Realistically this would be a nightmare in code. Since OnBase stores a revision for changes, there'd end up being a million revisions of the document. The auto-save feature in Word when a document is opened outside of OnBase uses the file location of the originating file to save.
