Exporting Document Composition Templates

Hello Everyone,

I need to extract all my production document composition templates and place them into UAT ensuring that we have the most up to date template.  Once the templates have been loaded into UAT then we need to update all the logos and export them from UAT to prod.  I would export 10-15 at a time moving them from UAT to PRD. 

Would you just use the export function to perform the export function within document composition to complete this task? I just want to make sure that templates are not removed from production and hosing myself at the end.

The export function would not remove the templates from our PROD system. 

However, I've previously run into challenges when migrating a template that already existed in the destination environment. The import would appear successful, but the changes I made were not migrated.
