We are having difficulty setting up the integration, what exactly needs to be installed on the ESRI and OnBase servers in order for the integration to be successful?

We are running ArcGIS 10.5.1 and OnBase 17

Thanks in Advance!

Hello Anthony,

Thank you for using Community!

No OnBase software is required to be on your Esri Server.

The GISWebAPI will need to be able to communicate with layers on your ESRI server with which you’d like to integrate.

The following breaks down the components of the different OnBase and Esri Options:

OnBase Widget:

  • OnBase Application Server – its own dedicated machine
  • GIS Web API – its own server separate from your Application Server and Esri server
  • GIS Configuration tool
  • OnBase Widget for Web Application

OnBase Mapping:

  • Unity Client - On the end users computers
  • Web Server, if wanting to use in Web Client – on a separate server
  • ESRI ArcGIS Runtime SDK 10.2 (for onbase 17) – on machine that has Unity Client and the Application Server installed

Integration for ESRI Desktop:

  • Unity Client with Unity Automation
  • Hyland ArcGIS Add-In for any ArcMap instances
  • Application Server

If you have any further questions in regards to setting up Integration for ESRI, I recommend reaching out to your first line of support.

Thank you,
