Q: Type of Docusign plan required + retrieval/storage of signed docs?

Greetings all! We're looking into leveraging Docusign for a signature capture solution with users that are outside of our organization. I can also foresee the desire to have this integrated with OnBase proper (for storage, workflow, reporting, etc). However, I'm scratching my head over a few questions:

1) What kind of Docusign plan would be required to use the OnBase integration? Would we just need one of their API plans?
2) Once a packet has been fully signed by the recipient, do the signed versions automatically come back as new revisions, or does this need to be done as part of a workflow job? Or would it depend on whether it was sent for signing on an ah-doc basis or via workflow?

I can speak to number 2 - yes, signed versions can automatically come back and be applied as revisions. When you are using the out-of-the-box integration, documents are sent on a doc-by-doc basis. The monitoring job is set up as a scheduled process (through the client scheduler).

Depending on how you're planning to implement, this thread may be of interest to you.

Hi Andy,

As Brendan said, the documents come back automatically when the envelope is complete, and (if your documents are configured for revisions) the signed document will become the latest revision.
