there is a thread from 2014 that addresses creating a custom file format for Visio files in OnBase, and I want to verify if anything has changed.. According to thread, If I want Windows to choose what viewer to use, I want to choose OLE Server as viewer type and the MIME type should be "application/x-visio" and then enter extension.. Is that still preferrred method? If so, I cannot figure out how to set up one custom file format for VSD AND VSDX. I would prefer not to have to create multiple file formats.
thanks so much,

Hi Nat.
I don't know if this works but have you tried setting the Default Extension to "VSD*" or maybe "VSD?"?
