OnBase 17: Expand Keyword Data Set to Include User-Entered Values?

I have several data sets that display in a dropdown list. In one department, my end users are pulling in large numbers of documents and need to add new options to the data set for a keyword as they come across them. I have the keyword enabled to use a data set and have no restrictions on it so that new values can be typed in - but is there a way to allow those new, typed-in values to be added to the data set so that they will display in the dropdown list after they're first entered?

Thanks!

Hi Elizabeth,

If you want to see a drop down list of all existing values for a Keyword Type, you can use the "Allow Drop - Down Lists" with the "Only Display Distinct Values" Keyword Type options.  This will provide you a list of all values for a Keyword Type while allowing new values to be entered.

Best wishes.
