Modify Document Date

I have brought in a large number of images using DIP. I have two date keywords called Document Date and Scan Date. The Document date shows the date of the DIP process, so all records have the same document date. The Scan Date came from the exported data so it is the correct date for the document. Is there a way that I can replace the Document Date with the value of the Scan Date? If I could do that, it will make finding records much easier for staff.

There are a few solution paths-

1. DIP -  This may not be feasible because you already have "a large number" of docs in the system and would have to purge and reprocess

Doc Date is a configurable field

2. Workflow - A rather simple Workflow System Task using Properties would make quick work of this task

First, copy the scan date to a property

Then, copy the property back to the Doc Date

3. SQL update - You can not do this as it voids your warranty, but you can request it from your first line of support who does have such a power. Depending on the complexity of the query and time involved, however, this may be a billable event.
