Hi, we are running OnBase 14 and Windows 2012 R2 (IIS 8.5). Does Hyland have any issues with us turning on Application Initialization in IIS? In a test system, I have set the app pools Start Mode to "always running" and website setting Preload Enabled to "True". This has been done on both Web and App servers. The reason for this is so that users that hit the system first thing in the morning don't have to wait for the Web Client, and/or Doc/Folder POPs to initialize after nightly IIS restarts. Thanks!

Hi Brian / Rob,
Thanks for the post.
To my knowledge, OnBase is not able to take advantage of this functionality. The reason is that while the Web Site or Application Pool could be "primed", it would have to know what to prime in order to cache the appropriate information. For instance, there is a different between hitting the Login.aspx page and the Service.asmx page.
SCR: #242577 has been created to investigate the ability of the OnBase Web Client to take advantage of this feature.
Take care,

Hello Brian, Roband Adam
In the meantime you could set up a scheduled task after IIS restarts to navigate to a URL and opening DocPOP and/or Login.aspx so that objects are loaded again.
