Hello, I have a couple HL7 questions about the 3MCAC integration. I’m not quite 2 months into supporting Onbase so I’m feeling very green right now! Any help is much appreciated.
We have incoming HL7 messages from our in house Medical Records System (Epic) that have a value for the PV1 3.7 field = "facility name". We will need to send an outgoing HL7 message with reference pointer to the 3M interface with the “facility name value” and it must be sent in the MSH 4 field.
My questions:
- Although I can see incoming HL7 messages containing the facility name in PV1 3.7, I'm not even sure if this is saved (maybe this is always saved??). What can I do to ensure that we do save it, so I can send it out?
- How would one ensure this facility value is sent out in the MSH 4 field?
