File Format Enhancement

Has an enhancement been put in place to attach an icon to a document based on the file type whether it is on the auto name string or just another column in the retrieval list?  For example, we have users that would like to be able to visually distinguish between a word document and a pdf document.

I'm not sure but we wanted this too - we ended up building a workflow to populate a keyword to get this to show in custom queries, so something simpler would be greatly appreciated for us too.

This thread is old, but I would like some kind of file format indication on the doc types too, if not an icon, then at least make it a property for the auto-name string.

It makes it a harsh user experience if you don't know if a doc will open up natively within the client or if it requires an external application.

I've had users complaining about this same issue for the past couple of weeks. Excel files seem to cause the most problems.
