Error Message Adding pages to tif

I'm trying to merger tif documents togther. The one document is within OnBase and the other outside of OnBase. When I execute my WF task to merge the documents I receive the following message:

"An error occurred within the Unity API: You cannot modify a document with pages of a different rendition. "

What does this mean? There is no redndition or revison for the document in OnBase and the other document is outside of OnBase.

It's probably just not happy with you adding in outside documents to merge them with the existing .tif image in your system. You'll either need to import the existing .tif image outside of OnBase as a page to the document and export the whole document as one from OnBase OR you'll need to pull the OnBase image out and merge with the other file using another utility that isn't OnBase.

At least, that's how it sounds so far.
