I have a customer that currently uses SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. They would like to Downgrade to SQL 2008 R2 Standard edition. Does Onbase have any issue with this change of SQL?

Hi Todd,
Native OnBase functionality does not use any of the Enterprise-only features of SQL Server and OnBase is supported on both 2008 R2 Enterprise and Standard Edition.
As long as the downgrade follows the Microsoft supported recommendations, the customer hasn't configured the database to use any of the Enterprise-only features (which might prevent a restore) and the database can be accessed after the restore to the Standard instance, I don't see any reason why OnBase would not function as expected.
Hope that helps.
Ansley
