Hello Sherry and thank you for using the Hyland Community!

There is no way to change a Keyword Type from Upper Case to Lower Case.  Once a Keyword Type has been configured as Upper or Lower Case it is locked into that setting.

There are a few Keyword configuration changes that can be made but please be aware doing so involves adding the -ROMANZO.  As the System Administration MRG suggests please contact your service provider with any questions before enabling this switch.  Additional information about this switch can be found in the System Administration MRG.

Keyword Configuration changes include Changing the Data Type when Numeric, Currency or Alphanumeric Data Types are selected.  The Storage option can also be changed from Single Table to Dual Table.  Additional information can again be found in the System Administration MRG (Page 409 - 417 in the OnBase 18 MRG).

There are a few caveats to this, the keywords cannot be part of an AutoFill or Keyword Type Group (Multi-Instance or Single Instance), the values must also be in a format which can be converted.  For example a Alphanumeric field configured for 25 characters cannot be changed into a Numeric 20 Data Type.

As with any configuration changes it is strongly recommended to test any changes first in a test environment before pushing the change to a Production environment and as always please contact your FLOS if you have any questions.

I hope this helped answer your question!

Thanks.  We thought so but wanted to confirm before telling the customer.
