We have some HTML files in OnBase with the built in HTML file format. We have software that retrieves images from OnBase and shows PDF and TIF images on a web page. We have recently added support for users to download other file formats and save them to their PC to open them locally. We get the file extension from the Rendition's file format extension. This doesn't work for HTML documents because the default file format extension is "???".
I see where in OnBase Config I can change the default extension. What I'm wondering is if it is safe for me to change the default extension of the built-in HTML file format to "htm," or if we need to put code in place to guess the extension.
