Can part of the autoname string on an existing OnBase document be captured and copied as a value for a keyword on the document?

On error, keywords were stripped from a DocType Group.  The autoname still exists on these documents and holds the keyword needed to prompt an auto-fill.

Is there a way to capture this keyword value from the autoname for the document?

Thanks...in advance!

Hi Leonette,

If I'm understanding your issue correctly, it sounds like someone went into OnBase Configuration | Document | Document Types | Keyword Types | and removed the desired keyword from the Document Type. If that is correct, we don't actually remove the keyword values from the database. If you simply add the Keyword Type back to the Document Type you'll see the values restored on your documents.

If that does the trick, please mark this question as answered.

Thanks,

Thomas
