Failed to execute ad hoc task

Getting this error Failed to execute ad hoc taskYour session with Hyland Services no longer existsPlease re-login and try againCan some tell what is causing this error.

Active X is not loading on Microsoft Surface.

We use the web-server and are on OnBase 11. Many of our users are now using a Microsoft Surface and seem to get hung up in the Active X load. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
