Autofill does not work in Web client

We have an issue where an autofill works fine in the thick client but does not work at all in the Web client.

We're using IE8

Are there any settings in the webconfig file that may need looked at?

Hello Erica,

I am sure you might have already checkied this, but were the ODBC connections updated on the web and app servers?

Thank you Andy and Riddhi!!

The ODBC connections were not setup on the web and app servers at all.  They were only set up on the user's PC.

We will try this!

Thanks again!

You should only need to do it on the app server. In fact, if you have separate web and app servers, it may not be a good idea to have the ODBC connection on the web server, for security reasons.

The app and web server are both on the same physical box.

The server sits behind a firewall and is internal to our network.

are you talking about serious security reasons?

If they're on the same box inside your network, then there shouldn't be an issue. I was talking about the situation where they AREN'T on the same box, and you have your app server behind the firewall, and the web server not behind the firewall, like how you would (should) set up systems with external-facing web servers.
