I am using an Auto-Number Keyword on my Unity Form. The problem I am having is the number increments (1, 2, 3...) every time the form is opened -- whether it the form is submitted or not. So if a user simply opens the form to look at it, the number increments. This causes the submitted forms to have missing numbers.
Has anyone found a work around for this issue?

I am having the same problem! My forms create invoices and it would make a lot more sense to the users if there weren't big gaps in the numbers.
Thanks,
Deanne

We have this issue as well. We need a work around or would like a custom action on submit to generate the number - has anyone done this.

Hi Stacey, Deanne and Michelle,
The easiest way to take care of this issue is to create a user form that only holds the current number. Once your document is submitted and added to workflow, check the user form, copy the number to your unity form and increment the number on the user form.
good luck!
