Hi,I was just wondering if there was any update on when the online API recertification option would be available? Last I remember this was going to be offered at the end of Q32014 but I see do not see it listed as an available course on training.onbase.com. ThanksAnthony

These are for the full API class, not just the recertification course.https://training.onbase.com/OCAPI - Option 2 under Recertification Options says "Attend the Upgrading API Certification course offered online". This was announced last year but I have not see where it has been scheduled or is currently available. It was due to be ready at the end of Q3 2012.

Anthony,I think that the API Recertification has changed to an "attend 2 courses" at Techquest. However, I am pretty sure that you can sign up for the API Certification and re-do the exam and that will be sufficient.

Hi Anthony

The API Certification process has in fact changed in the last few years.  Currently, there are two options to become recertified.  The recertification course that you are referencing has been replaced by the TechQuest option that is outlined below.

  1) Attend the "What's new with the Unity API" along with another API focused course at Tech Quest.  As of now, the earliest TechQuest will be in Mid-March.  More information on TechQuest can be found at http://www.onbase.com/en/Sites/Training/TechQuest

  2) Attend the week long API Training Course.  As you can see from the list above, there are multiple Training Courses either Online, or at Westlake, OH.  Also, the API Training course has been re-vamped to expose more features within the Unity API.  More information on this option can be found at https://training.onbase.com/OCAPI

No matter your option, I would advise registering for one of the above methods as soon as possible.  Upon confirmation of registration, API Support can be provided for any issues, along with distribution of the most recent SDK.
