Can the latest VPD version be installed on a Network Printer?
I found this limitation in the Virtual Print Driver MRG's until OnBase version 10.0.1:
Network Printing
The Virtual Print Driver cannot be installed on a network printer. Each user must install Virtual Print Driver directly on a local machine.
However, in the 11.0 VPD MRG there is no mention that it can or cannot be installed as a Network Printer.

Hi Don,
The note was removed from the 11.0 VPD MRG because it is technically possible to install the VPD as a network printer.
That being said it is a very niche business process where this makes sense. Imagine the VPD as a real printer, if you have 20 people attempting to print to one printer and they can't work until their document is printed then the first person will not see an issue but person #20 is going to be standing there waiting a long time. By deploying the VPD to every machine then each person will be able to get their job right away. The MRG is in the process of being updated to explain the full setup of the VPD as a network printer and the limitations that exist.
