Scan Queue Batch Name

Hello,

For our HR department, we have two scan queues which are picking up image files from network folders. Inside the scan queue pickup location (HR Folder), there are couple of second level folders. These folders are specific to HR Indexers who use a Canon network scanner (using ScanFront) that drops files to their respective folder. The scan queue picks up these image files from all the folders and re-names the batch on the basis of second level folder (shown below).

Previous Version:

7d9e730998b24dd8ace3de56f4e92f70

New Version:

fb59b4fc545b482489510e910507c120

Since, we are planning an upgrade to EP1 and are in phase of testing, I am not able to repeat the same scenario on upgraded environment although all the configuration and folder structure is same.

1> Scan Queue Auto Name string is set to: %D - %N

2> Scan Queue sweep options:

8642019233c1477ab2bc24409d31a3a1

3> There are no script hooks that would modify the batch name.

Hence, we are having a hard time identifying if there's something within or outside OnBase that can set up or modify the batch name. If someone has a similar experience with this, please feel free to share your thoughts. Appreciate all inputs 🙂

Hi Samagra,

The auto-name configuration string that you're using %D - %N indicates <scan date> - <scan queue name>, which is what you're seeing.  If you'd like the batch names to be only the sub-folder name, try changing the auto-name configuration on the scan queue(s) to: %P instead of %D - %N.  This will indicate that the batches should be named with only the name of the second level folder.
