OCR issues/functionality

I am looking for a Company in the Buffalo, NY area that uses OCR for the scanning and indexing of invoices. We are having some issues here with being able to set large amounts of vendors up. Invoices coming though are not legible when they are scanned in, and we have some batches where it is taking OCR over an hour to run on a batch of 60-100. Other venders have batches of over 300 documents and OCR is run in minutes.

To better understand your question, which Hyland product/module are you using to OCR and process these invoices?

We are currently using version 11.0.2.161

We have a similar issue and we are at 12 but moving to the 13 the end of December.  A quick question, is your files storage an iSCSI share off a SAN (in our case an HP Left Hand 4300 i believe), a Drive on a virtual server or on a standalone server?
