Is it possible to take an image location file path from xml and upload the image into a placeholder?

The image is a bmp of a signature that we don't want to store long term, just temporarily until the information is added to OnBase.

HI Donna,

You can't use the file path, but if you're comfortable with some light scripting, you can embed the image directly in the XML.   Just convert the image into a base64 encoded string and place that in an XML node.  Then, in the XML Placeholder, select "Image" from the "Insert result as" dropdown.
