Updating the table of contents with Doc Comp?

Can Doc Comp templates can be configured to automatically update the Table of Contents in a document when the document is generated?  We have a situation where documents are created with 100+ pages of  variable content and we want the TOC to be updated without user intervention.

Hi Joe,

Unfortunately, a small amount of user interaction would be needed to update the ToC after Composition.  It would involve clicking 'Update Table' on the ToC (if configured to be an Automatic Table in Word) in the Composed document to update it after Composition and archival into OnBase, but Document Composition does not currently have a setting to do this automatically.  If you are interested in making a request for an enhancement to Document Composition for this functionality, don't hesitate to contact your first line of support.
