OnBase print queues delay

Hello,

We are using an OnBase print queue to print documents. The documents we are printing are going to this OnBase print queue and wait before being sent to the final printer queue on the server. This means that documents are not being printed instantly but with a delay existing in the OnBase print queue. This delay can be 5 seconds like it can be more than 30 seconds. So it can be very long to wait after the document to be printed...

I want to point out the fact that documents are waiting in OnBase print queue and, when they are sent to the final print queue on the server, documents are printed instantly.

Does someone has experienced the same issue or know if this delay can be configured?

Thanks in advance,

Brice.

Hi Brice,

I am assuming you are utilizing the OnBase Print Server to queue up and print these documents. There is a polling interval that can be set, however the minimum is 100 seconds. This is controlled with the Document List Refresh Rate User Option on the machine and with the user that is processing the Print Jobs.
