Maximum character in document composition with user prompt

If Document Composition is configured with a prompt for user input, is there a maximum character limit for what the user can type at the prompt?

Hi Steve,

The prompt question is limited to 255 characters. The user's answer is theoretically limited to Max.Int32 or 2,147,483,647 characters but something like this has not been tested. The prompt supports only a single line of text which is more of a limiting factor than that of the length allowed.

Is the single line of text still a limitation? I have a customer with OnBase 17 who would like to add a few paragraphs of text.

Yes it is. For those who would like to add a few paragraphs of test, we recommend using an HTML Form prompt.
