Hi.

I am having below error and notification cannot send out.Any suggestion how to make it work??

"The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: SMTP authentication is required."

I am using onBase16. Thanks in advance.

Hi Su,

Thank you for using the OnBase Community.

In version 16 and prior, the Hyland Distribution Service does not support SSL via SMTP. The SMTP server must be configured to relay without encryption or authentication.

SCR #118982 was completed for OnBase 17 and allows SSL connections via SMTP.
