I'm  new to using report services in OnBase 16.  Is there a way using Report Services to have an automated report that runs daily for document and folder history transactions?  Thanks for your help.

Hello Mary,

Unfortunately Report Services does not have this capability. As well, I wouldn't spend too much time working with Report Services because as of OnBase 19/Foundation Report Services will be sunset and the replacement for it will be Reporting Dashboards which does allow live reporting to be done and so much more.

Mary, try nudging your Reporting Team to automate it outside of OnBase's Reporting Services (using SSIS, BI, etc.)  They will need the script that the particular report or reports run.  We use Business Intelligence and through this dashboard, the end-user can run the report ad-hoc, on a schedule, etc.

Mary: we have dashboards that run on the Unity Scheduler on a daily basis.  It's extremely handy and it's a built-in option on unity scheduler.  Take a look.  🙂
