Only allow a user to modify specific keywords for specific document types

Hello all-

I am looking for a way to make it so a user can modify keywords, but only specific keywords (such as Document Date) on a specific document type.

So if the DocType TestDocTypeOne had Account #, Invoice #, and Document Date, I want the user to only be able to modify Document Date when viewing TestDocTypeOne.

Is this possible?

Hello Cameron,

If you go into OnBase Configuration | Document | Document Types > Select the Document Type you are looking to change, and select the Keyword Types button.

From here, select the options button located just under the 'All Keywords' box. Select the 'RO' option for any of the keywords, and they will be read only.

This way, you can set Account #, Invoice # to Read Only, and Document Date will be available for modification.
