OnBase Configuration/Disk Mgmt/Disk Groups Do we need all the variants on a test system?

My test database was copied from preprod and now I'm working on configuration Disk group paths.  Om the Disk group/Volume Information there are hundreds of volumes.  Do I need all of these for my test machine to get it to work?

It depends, if you brought all the documents (diskgroup contents) over then you will probably want to update the diskgroup locations. If you are willing to live without the old documents (except for some in SYSTEM (icons, botmaps) then there is no reason. When we do the latter we make sure to do a force commit on every diskgroup, in order to test that the new diskgroups are read-writeable and that the ONBASE.ID is there and corrent.

Note, Hyland support have a way to mass-update multiple volumes of a diskgroup.
