Is it possible to delete keyword type groups?

Are you asking if Keyword Type Group values can be deleted or if the actual Keyword Type Group can be deleted?

Once a Keyword type Group is configured it cannot be deleted.

Can a keyword type be changed if its not used anywhere from a numeric value to alphanumeric?

Ryan,

You can add the -ROMANZO switch to convert from Numeric -> Alpha, just not the other way around.  There's more details about the process and some of the caveats/limitations in this TKSB article:

Since your keyword is unused, you could also look to delete the keyword and create a new one in its place.
