Is it possible to add an AD user to a manually managed group?

We have a manually managed group that I've tried adding AD users to but the settings do not seem to stick. The manually managed group has non AD users and those work fine.

Hello Anthony

It is supposed to work.  The purpose of manually managed groups is to separate AD from the process entirely.

However, I have tested on my end and it is removing the AD user from the group when they auto-login using AD authentication.

I will create a SCR (software change request).  I will post later with the # so that you can keep track.

Thank you

Awesome. Thank you. I will be checking back to get the #.

Hello Anthony

I have done some additional testing with "Active Directory - Enhanced" authentication. If an AD user is put into a manually managed group, it will retain its membership. My configuration was incorrect when I was testing previously.

For LDAP and Basic authentication, it should only remove the user if the checkbox in "Users -> User Groups & Rights -> Authentication Settings" is checked

I apologize for the misinformation before.

Thanks
