Integration for CourtView without Active Directory integration?

For our domain users, we have regular setup for the Integration for CourtView module with Active Directory authentication working without issue.

We also have a group of CourtView users that are on a separate domain that currently do not use the OnBase Integration for CourtView, but use the stand-alone CourtView application by itself.  We have tried to see if their IT team is willing to set up a trust between our domains to fully utilize CourtView and the OnBase Integration for CourtView, but those talks have stalled.

Is it possible to use the "Integration for CourtView" module without Active Directory authentication or other workarounds for this situation?  All OnBase servers must stay within our domain/oversight and using a Domain Trust looks like it is not possible for us in this situation.

With seeing how the Integration for CourtView operates, the CourtView application attempts to create the session/connection to the OnBase Web Server before the web browser launches a version of the OnBase Web Client.  If the CourtView application cannot create the session/connection, the CourtView application will create display an error message and not launch the web browser.  Since the connection to the OnBase Web Server happens "behind the scenes" from within the CourtView application (normally using the Windows credentials of the logged in user), we're trying to figure out if there is a way for it to work without Active Directory authentication in place for those users that are not on our domain.

As a temporary workaround that made a bit of progress, we are using a combination of saved Windows Credentials and, in each workstations Integration for CourtView config file, the "Demo Mode" settings to pass OnBase credentials.  Using either saved Windows Credentials or the "Demo Mode" credentials independently did not work for the Integration for CourtView, only the combination of the two.

Thank you in advance for any assistance provided!

We have the exact opposite problem. We are using Demo Mode with Onbase credentials (original configuration from before AD Enhanced was configured) and want to start using IdP with the Courtview Integration. When we turn Demo Mode to false, it breaks the integration. We are working with a Courtview tech and he insists the Courtview Integration can ONLY run in Demo Mode, they don't know any other way to configure it. Except we know of many other companies that are using AD and/or IdP login, so clearly it can be configured. At this point, we suspect this configuration is happening inside Courtview itself, though we haven't figured out where. We have a ticket with the vendor in progress, if I find anything out, I will post it here.

Edit: In further testing, it doesn't appear Courtview Integration is compatible with IdP, so we will be pursuing AD Enhanced login, which to my understanding, requires the AD AppNet/AppServers. Those would not be compatible with manual login, which the Demo Mode is using, right?
