How to set a keyword as hidden to multiple document types?

Hello,

Is there a quick way to set a keyword as hidden (not invisible because we prefer users not seeing the keyword upon importing documents) and apply that to all the document types?

Currently, we need to add a keyword as hidden to all the document types. What we do right now is going to every single document type and configure that keyword as HID under the keyword type option. It is extremely time-consuming to configure the same keyword as hidden on individual document types since we have a lot. We'd be much appreciated if anyone could help us with how we can set a keyword as hidden to multiple document types. Thanks in advance!

Emily

Hello Emily and thank you for using the Hyland Community!

Unfortunately the Keyword Options including the Hidden setting have to be enabled on a per document type basis.  The only potential way to make this quicker is if you don't already have Document Types Configured.  If you are creating new Document Types from scratch you can use the 'Copy' button within the Document Types Configuration dialog.

This will copy the selected document and apply the Document Type Group, Disk Group, File Type as well as any Keywords and the options set for those Keywords.

I hope this helped answer your question.
